Zypendaal House
Precious furnished house of regent family Brantsen
The beautiful home and its annexes are situated in a green stream valley, surrounded by flowing water. Part of the ornate interior of the house dates back to the 18th century. The precious marble floor in the hall is decorated with a chain motif. The representation rooms give you the impression of paying a visit to the Brantsen family, who lived in Zypendaal for generations.
The park surrounding Zypendaal House is a fantastic place to take a stroll, walk your dog or picnic at your leisure. You can find rhododendron-zoomed lawns, springs, streams and ponds. The ponds are the natural habitat of specimens like the common kingfisher and grey wagtail. Tours start throughout the day on set times. English tours can be given upon request.
